How big are the candles?

They're small, between about 6 and 10 cm tall (2.4–4 in). Product pages list the approximate size and weight. For example, Frosty Blocks is about 6.6 cm tall, and Santa Sundae, our largest, is about 10.3 cm tall.

Are they scented?

Yes. Each candle has its own fragrance, listed on its product page: White Peach Oolong, Juniper & Lavender, English Pear & Freesia, Silk Tree Blossom, Blue Windbell and Forest Moss.

What are they made of?

A blend of 80% paraffin wax and 20% soy wax.

Can I actually light them?

Yes. Remove all packaging, tags and decorations first, and burn the candle upright on a stable, heat-resistant dish that catches melting wax. Never leave a lit candle unattended, and keep it away from children, pets, drafts and anything flammable. Many people keep them as decor; they're sculptural, so the shape changes once lit.

When will my order ship?

Our first collection ships starting November 8. After that, orders ship within 1–3 business days with USPS Ground Advantage, which usually takes 2–5 business days to arrive.

How much is shipping?

$4.99 flat rate within the US, and free on orders of $35 and up.

Do you ship outside the US?

Not yet. We currently ship within the United States only.

Will it arrive in time for Christmas?

To arrive by December 25, please order by December 16.

Can I return a candle?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, as long as it's unused, unburned and in its original packaging. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item arrived damaged or we sent the wrong one. See our Refund policy.

My candle arrived damaged. What now?

Email hello@mello-candle.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We'll send a replacement or a full refund.

Can wax candles melt in transit?

They can soften in high heat. Please bring your package indoors soon after it's delivered.
